Apprentice Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (EL16)

Salary: National Minimum Wage

Contract Type: 2 years Fixed Term

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Starting Point Nursery, Crewe Campus

We are seeking a full-time Level 3 Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our Starting Point Nursery.

This is an excellent opportunity for innovative and inspiring Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to assist and support children with daily care.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily assistance and support to all children;
  • Support and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum;
  • Contribute to planning and preparation of daily activities;
  • Provide a safe and stimulating environment for all children; and
  • Promote the welfare of children and young people.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • GCSE Grade C (4/5) in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Level 2 in Childcare (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards;
  • Update to date knowledge of current educational practice – latest EYFS (September 2021);
  • Ability to use information technology to supplement education (Iconnect/Parentzone):
  • Proven skills in working with children and understanding their needs; and
  • Enhanced DBS check.
