Cheshire College are seeking a new Chair for Curriculum & Quality to take over from the impactful current postholder, who has been in post for eight years. As well as providing general scrutiny, challenge, and strategic input to steer the College forwards as a member of our talented Governing Body, this role will lead governance input with relation to curriculum and quality matters.
The College has an excellent platform to excel and reach ever-greater heights, and the Governing Body plays a key role in the future direction and success of the College.
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience of working at a senior, strategic level within the Further Education sector.
- Bring additional, effective support and challenge to ensure that the education and training programmes are delivered in a high-quality way, with continuous improvement and innovative practice.
- Have a values-driven approach and a focus on putting students first.
Governance experience is not essential as governance training will be provided.
