Media Facilities Equip Future Professionals for Industry Success 

Cheshire College – South & West’s Chester campus is home to state-of-the-art media facilities, offering an advanced environment for students to develop their skills in television production, set building, audio engineering, and photography. The industry-standard equipment is designed to provide an immersive, hands-on learning experience for aspiring media professionals. 

The campus features a professional TV studio, equipped with the latest technology for live studio broadcasts, vision mixing, and green screen capabilities. This versatile space allows students to experiment with set building and drama production filming, preparing them for the dynamic demands of the industry. 

The College has also introduced its new advanced audio suite, tailored for students interested in high-quality podcast recording, streaming, and audio production. The suite includes facilities for Foley and drama voice-over recording, giving students the opportunity to work in an environment that mirrors professional industry standards. 

In addition, the College’s fully equipped digital photography studio boasts the latest in digital photography equipment, coupled with a newly constructed darkroom for traditional photo development. The combination of modern tools and classic techniques ensures students have a comprehensive education in both digital and analogue photography practices.
