Cheshire College – South & West is proud to announce the commencement of construction work at its Crewe Campus, marking the beginning of innovative developments set to transform the educational landscape in the region.
These developments mark a significant milestone for Cheshire College, as it embarks on a groundbreaking journey to enhance its offerings and facilities. Among the key highlights is the construction of a state-of-the-art building for the Cheshire and Warrington Institutes of Technology, solidifying Cheshire College’s position as a leading provider in the region.
The developments are part of a dynamic network of partnerships between local universities, employers, and colleges, with Cheshire College spearheading the initiative. With over £15 million in investments allocated, the Cheshire and Warrington region is poised to benefit from industry-standard facilities and equipment, particularly in sectors such as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), where employer demand is at its peak.
Building upon the success of last year’s state-of-the-art renovations at the Ellesmere Port Campus, Cheshire College is committed to bringing similar transformative developments to the Crewe Campus. This includes upgrading areas such as Hair & Beauty and Hospitality & Catering, which are vital not only for students but also for members of the public who utilise these facilities.
Investment extends to remodelling the Legal and Business department areas, as well as significant refurbishments in the Creative department, ensuring that every aspect of the College’s educational offering receives the attention it deserves.
