Cheshire College is pleased to announce that its 2023-2024 prospectus has received a prestigious ‘Highly Commended’ accolade in the Best Prospectus category at the College Marketing Network FE First Marketing Awards.
The event, held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in Birmingham, brought together marketing professionals from colleges and sixth forms across the UK to celebrate excellence in further education marketing.

The prospectus was praised for effectively capturing the essence of student life, academic excellence, and career opportunities available at the College, resonating deeply with prospective students and families.
Marketing and Recruitment Manager, Lynsey Shearsmith shared her pride in the achievement: “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this recognition. Designed entirely in-house with a focus on sustainability and engagement, the slim, interactive guide reduces waste and invites students to document their journey with write-on sections.
The prospectus played a significant role in boosting recruitment efforts for the 2023-2024 academic year, contributing to a 4% increase in school liaison activities and an 8% rise in enrolments. Its interactive, hands-on approach has strengthened engagement with prospective students, helping Cheshire College maintain its position as a leader in school leaver recruitment.
