Cheshire College – South & West is set to host the annual Crewe Women’s Day at its Crewe campus on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in collaboration with Motherwell Cheshire. The event marks the 10th anniversary of Crewe Women’s Day, a key celebration within the region of International Women’s Day, and will also serve as the launch of the charity’s rebrand under its new name, Her-Place Charitable Trust.
The event will mark a decade of Motherwell’s Crewe Women’s Day celebrations, which have continuously empowered and recognised women in the community.
This year’s milestone event will feature a vibrant line-up of performances, inspiring exhibitions, and a dynamic marketplace spotlighting female-led businesses, artisans, and charities. Attendees will also have the option to view a selection of live theatre performances that celebrate women’s stories and achievements.
In addition to the performances and exhibitions, food and drink stalls will offer a range of refreshments, as well as a children’s area with activities such as face painting, ensuring the event is enjoyable for visitors of all ages.
Helen Nellist, Deputy Principal and Deputy CEO of Cheshire College expressed excitement about the upcoming event, stating:
“We are thrilled to be hosting the 10th anniversary of Crewe Women’s Day. This event is a wonderful opportunity to recognise and celebrate the achievements of women in our community”
“It’s truly inspiring to see the energy and passion from attendees and participants, and we are proud to be part of this milestone celebration.”
The event will be free to attend, with donations encouraged to support the important work of Motherwell Cheshire. A charity dedicated to supporting women and families. Running from 10 AM to 3 PM, the day is expected to attract a diverse crowd, all eager to participate in the celebrations and show their support for the incredible contributions of women across the world.
