How to apply

The Course
This is a knowledge-based qualification, which can assist an individual’s
understanding of various mental health issues. Units
include:
- Understanding mental health
- Understanding stress
- Understanding anxiety
- Understanding phobias
- Understanding depression
- Understanding post-natal depression
- Understanding eating disorders
- Understanding attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Understanding obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD)
- Understanding post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
This is a distance learning course and you will study and be assessed online,
allowing you to fit in your study around your other commitments.
The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
Funding for Adult Courses
You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you are 19+ there may be funding options available to cover the cost of your course.
