How to apply

The Course

This qualification will introduce you to the use of counselling skills in everyday life and work, and the approaches underpinning the use of these skills.

This course is suitable for you if you would like to develop your counselling skills for use in either work or in a personal capacity. It can provide a pathway for those wishing to commence counsellor training at HE level and students can also study this programme to complement other courses.

This course is suitable for learners aged 18 and above. The qualification does not qualify learners to practise as a counsellor.

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements; however, you may find it helpful if you’ve already achieved a Level 2 qualification in counselling skills.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
