The Course

Whether you are looking to build your confidence using a computer, want to stay in touch with relatives and friends or want to start shopping online, this essential digital skills course is the perfect choice for you!

 

Our expert tutors will guide you throughout as you learn new skills and even gain a qualification that can help you improve your chances of finding employment or move forward in your career. You do not need to have any previous qualifications, experience or skills in computing to sign up for this course and it is completely free.

 

This qualification will help you:

 

  • Develop skills in using various digital devices, such as iPads and laptops, to access the Internet safely and securely.
  • Apply your new knowledge and skills in common situations, such as online shopping and banking.
  • Develop digital communication skills, such as sending emails and using facetime.
  •  Gain the skills needed for further study at Level 2.

You could progress to other related computing courses at Level 1.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
