How to apply

The Course

This qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as a Junior Men’s Hairdresser including health and safety, client consultation, shampoo and conditioning hair, working in the hair industry, basic cutting techniques and clipper work, maintaining facial hair and styling men’s hair.

A keen interest in learning new skills in barbering. Previous experience of hairdressing would be an advantage but is not essential.
You could progress onto higher level barbering or other hairdressing courses at the College.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.

Funding for Adult Courses
