How to apply

The Course

This course is perfect for you if aspire to work in a mangement role or to progress to a higher level in management. You will gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed for roles that require personal responsibility and decision-making, such as:

  • Operations manager
  • Regional manager
  • Divisional manager
  • Department manager and specialist managers

By the end of the course, you will have a sound understanding of the principles of leadership and management and will know how to apply those principles more widely in the business world.

We welcome an application profile that meets one of the following:

  • A BTEC Level 3 qualification in Business
  • A GCE Advanced Level profile that demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject or adequate performance in more than one GCE subject
  • Other related Level 3 qualifications
  • An Access to Higher Education Diploma awarded by an approved further education institution
  • Related work experience as determined at interview with the Course Team Leader
  • An international equivalent of the above

and:

  • GCSE grades A* to C ( 9 to 4) in maths and English
You may be able to progress to degree-level study, or into employment at lower/middle management roles.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
