The Course

This is a knowledge-based qualification, which can assist an individual’s understanding of various mental health issues. Units include: 
 

  • Understanding mental health
  • Understanding stress 
  • Understanding anxiety 
  • Understanding phobias 
  • Understanding depression 
  • Understanding post-natal depression 
  • Understanding eating disorders 
  • Understanding attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) 
  • Understanding obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) 
  • Understanding post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

There are no entry requirements for this course. However a good level of English and a reasonable level of IT skills are required
You could progress onto higher-level study at the College.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
