How to apply

The Course
This course will give you a broad introduction to Fine Art. You will develop and strengthen core skills while preparing to study specialist subjects at a higher level or enter employment in the industry.
You learn a wide range of fine art knowledge linked to practical skills
gained through research, independent study, directed study and workplace
scenarios. You will get involved in vocational activities that help you to
develop transferable skills such as communication, teamwork, research and
analysis, which are highly valued in higher education and in the
workplace.
By the end of the course, you will have sound knowledge
of the basic concepts of fine art and have developed a range of subject-specific
skills. You will also be equipped with the core skills needed for a range of
careers in fine art, specifically those related to management and
operation.
The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
Funding for Adult Courses
You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you are 19+ there may be funding options available to cover the cost of your course.
