How to apply

The Course

This Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying is a great course for you if you are looking to work in construction. You will learn practical skills such as safe working practices, handling and storage of resources, carrying out blocklaying, bricklaying and cavity walling activities and contribution to building basic masonry structures up to damp course level. You will also develop your team working, communication and maths and English skills, which employers are looking for. You will be well supported on this course and it is a great first step towards a career in construction.

Individual Study Programmes will be discussed at interview to meet individual needs.
On successful completion of the course you could progress to Level 2 Bricklaying programme or another related Level 2 course.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
