How to apply

The Course

Gain the skills you need to be a bricklayer and develop your understanding of the trade with this practical course. You will develop your skills in a real work environment where you will learn about traditional and modern techniques used within the construction industry.

The course covers safe working practices, building methods and construction technology, interpreting working drawings, carrying out thin joint masonry and masonry classing, building solid walling, isolated and attached piers and cavity walled structures. The skills you will gain build on what is taught at Level 1, to make you a better qualified construction worker.
