How to apply

The Course

Beauty therapy could be your route into an exciting career, whether it be providing treatments for passengers on a cruise ship or working in beauty therapy salons and spas up and down the country. By choosing this option, you will acquire a broad range of skills and knowledge, which you can then apply in the College’s fully equipped salons.

The course will give you a thorough grounding in a wide range of treatments such as:

  • Facials
  • Manicures
  • Pedicures
  • Waxing
  • Eye treatments and make-up
  • Anatomy
  • Health and safety
  • Reception

You will will have two pathways to choose from: Genral Route or Nail Technology Route.

Typically you will need 4 GCSEs at grade 3/D or above, including a 3/2 (D/E) combination for maths and English.
Students can progress to the Level 3 Beauty Therapy or Level 3 Make-up Artistry courses at the College or an apprenticeship in beauty therapy or hairdressing.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.

Funding for Adult Courses
