The Course

This qualification is suitable for students wishing to develop more advanced technical skills in patisserie and confectionery. The course allows students to learn, develop and practice the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the catering and hospitality sector.

Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above including maths and English. Level 3 students who do not achieve a grade 4 in English and/or maths will study a GCSE in the relevent subject as part of their study programme. Level 2 Professional Cookery or equivalent.
This qualification can help you to progress in your career as a pastry chef in the hospitality and catering industry.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
