How to apply

The Course

This course will give you the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the plumbing industry. The Level 2 course starts with basic pipe work skills and moves on to more complex plumbing tasks, including airing cupboards, bathroom suites, above-ground sanitation, central heating installation (no gas/oil) and low carbon steel. You will learn how to undertake work competently and safely once you are working as a plumber. This qualification forms the basis of knowledge for all modern domestic plumbing and is the starting point for anyone looking for a career in plumbing.

To enrol on this course you will need to have a minimum of a grade 4/C for GCSE Maths and a 3/D for GCSE English Language. Typically, you will need 2 other GCSEs at a grade 3/D or above.
You could progress onto higher-level study on at Level 3 or progress into employment in the industry.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
