The Course

Are you creative and looking to develop your skills in a variety of areas in art, design and media? The interactive workshops within this hands-on course will give you the opportunity to explore your creative ideas and gain the skills you need to progress.

You’ll work with a variety of different mediums, including 2D, 3D and digital crafts, and learn about a vast range of materials, technologies, techniques and processes. You’ll also undertake an exciting project of your own and be inspired by visits to famous galleries in the Northwest, such as Tate Liverpool. This course will enable you to progress to a higher-level course and combines the art and design qualification with a certificate in work skills. For those specifically interested in media and games, this course will give you the artistic underpinning necessary to progress into this area.
