How to apply

The Course

This course will help you gain the skills you need for work, as well as developing your abilities in sports, protective services and travel and tourism. It includes learning about how the body works and planning your own fitness programme, as well as leading a sports and active leisure activity. You will learn about roles and activities in the protective services, including the armed services, police and fire and rescue, and travel and tourism occupations.

You will improve your teamworking and communication skills and take part in group projects to give you the skills you need to progress in one of the three areas studied.

Typically you will need 4 GCSEs at grade 2/E or above.
On completion, you could progress to one of the College’s Level 2 courses in Sport, Uniformed Protective Services or Travel and Tourism.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
