How to apply

The Course

 

The course will be tailored to all hair and beauty students or professionals wanting to learn the basics of marketing their own beauty or hair businesses.  

Students will discover how to create a business logo based on the ethos of their company or to suit their individual style, they will understand how to build an eye-catching website and attach a domain name. They will learn the benefits of using social media sites and what target audience each platform attracts, which will create a client base for the student. They will understand algorithms in social media and when to post for the best engagement therefore boosting their business and skills to the public domain.  

 

Students will create videos using several creating apps to upload to Instagram and Tik Tok. They will understand how to follow current social media trends to boost their popularity, views/likes and comments.  

All learners will delve into defining SMART goals and key performance indicators. These are key components in building out a marketing campaign. As a result, learners will complete projects and apply learning to a real-life scenario involving their own business.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
