The Course

This course explores Trauma informed practice and how this encourages practitioners to be able to  support practitioners  within their role, to consider how trauma exposure can impact an individual’s ability to function and achieve mental, physical, social, emotional or spiritual wellbeing.  

 

The course will explore how Trauma informed practice encourages us to think about what we need to know to be able to respond to people affected by trauma, understanding the person and what is important to them.

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. This course is suitable for students aged 19+.
You can develop your knowledge by progressing to a Level 2 study in Health and Social Care.
