The Course

This course provides an introduction to art and design skills and will allow you to explore some of the key elements that underpin all art and design practice.Some of the elements you will cover are: · Different mark making techniques · The colour wheel and colour theory · The design process and the creative cycle This short course is designed to introduce learners to basic art & design techniques and principles to either support you with your own interests or as a foundation for further learning.

There are no entry requirements. This course is for students 19+.
There is a variety of short courses available that could allow you to explore another skill. You could progress on to Level 2 in a relevant subject area or to improve your current employment opportunities.

The course fee shown is the co-funded rate which is only available for people living in the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester or Cheshire East. If you live outside of these local authorities please contact the College for fee information.
