The Course

This course introduces the core principles of early childhood education and care. It explores the importance of understanding child development and the various factors that influence how young children grow, learn and interact with others. Students will look at strategies used to support children’s development and consider approaches that encourage positive learning experiences in early years settings.

The course is suitable for adults who are looking to expand their knowledge of working with pre-school children or those who wish to build their confidence in supporting their own child’s development.
