How to apply

The Course

If you are aiming for a career in the world of games development, this course will support you in gaining the skills and experience needed to succeed. Through a mix of key theory modules and practical projects, you will build a strong portfolio that can support entry into the industry or progression to a university top-up degree.

This course will give you the knowledge and understanding required to perform effectively in the global games development sector. You will explore how digital technologies continue to shape the industry and gain insight into the challenges and opportunities of working in an international business environment. You will also develop core skills relevant to a range of roles in games development including those in management and operations.

By the end of the course, you will have a solid understanding of games development backed by practical experience gained through research, guided projects and real-world scenarios. This will also build valuable transferable skills such as communication, problem solving, teamwork and analysis. These skills are highly regarded both in higher education and across the creative and digital industries.
