This practical course offers students an introduction to basic woodworking skills, focusing on simple projects such as creating a bird table and a garden bench. It is ideal for those with little or no experience who would like to build confidence using hand tools and working with wood. Students will learn about the safe use of tools, measuring and marking materials, and assembling simple wooden structures. The course will help develop skills in following plans, working accurately, and producing finished pieces suitable for home or garden use. Delivered in a supportive workshop environment, this course provides an excellent introduction for students interested in DIY, woodworking, or progressing to further study in a related trade.
