Digital Marketing Officer (EL347)

Salary: £25,205 – £28,282 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent                               

Hours: 37 per week

Location: Chester with travel required across all campuses (Chester, Ellesmere Port and Crewe)

This is an excellent opportunity to join and work alongside the Marketing team to plan, produce and deliver strong digital content whilst maintaining the high standards of quality for our website. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on producing visual and written content and scheduling for all social media platforms;
  • Write copy for press and online articles;
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships;
  • Plan effective distribution of content and report on KPIs;
  • Work with Senior Digital Marketing Officer to ensure effective administration of the website; and
  • Work with and support the wider marketing team in the provision of the service.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • Degree and/or comparable professional qualification;
  • Qualification in Marketing (desirable)
  • Full and valid UK driving licence;
  • Evidence of on-going professional development;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience of liaising confidently with a range of stakeholders, building effective relationships
  • Understanding of the importance of delivering excellent customer service and gathering and acting on feedback; and
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment.
